prayer cross

Our wonderful Trustees have set out our much treasured wooden cross close to the roadside as a forum for prayers for the community. We normally set out this cross during the Resurrection Sunday celebration. But times like these calls for this cross to be in extended purpose.

The "cloth" on the cross will be changed into liturgical colors as we move forward, including the Holy week to help with staying connected with church and community.

A special thanks to Roger, Larry, and our neighbor Seth for making it happen.

Dial-in Daily Devotion Line:

Many thanks to Pat Michalik and Roger Hess as they have also established a dial-in daily devotion line for those who are without internet access. If you wish to offer to lead a daily devotion, please let Pastor Linny or Pat know.

We are a friendly, open church, and our congregation will make you feel at home immediately.
Hope UMC is a vital congregation; we extend open and radical hospitality to a diverse community inclusive of persons with physical and cognitive disabilities. We strive to be a church where all persons come and experience the generous love of Jesus Christ.

Our growth in faith is revealed by active participation in worship, the development of new mission projects, heightened engagement in biblical studies, and empowering new leadership.
